June Update | 2020
During these pandemic days, Uganda has been in full lockdown.
Amazingly, Uganda has had no recorded deaths. Praise God! Word reached us that the shelter-in-place order has created added issues around food scarcity.
Because of your support, we were able to quickly respond!
What we purchased per family:
22 lbs. – Maize flour
11 lb. – rice
4.5 lb – sugar
1 – bar of soap
1 liter jug of cooking oil
2 packages of salt.
Who we impacted:
We reached 70 families (3 – 10 people per family). Plus the
31 kids at school that had no families to go home to.
20 additional bags of food were given to community members
in need. And a few church members who live far away were given cash
to purchase their food.
